THE PANEL MAY FIT WHILE THE GEAR MOUNTED TO IT DOES NOT

Choose a vehicle-specific Maverick panel that documents factory mounting points, tie-down and outlet access, then test the depth of every pouch, clamp and tool under the tonneau. Panel compatibility alone does not prove the finished loadout clears cover rails, latches or moving panels.

Putco lists Maverick-specific side and bulkhead panels for the 2022–2027 4.5-foot bed. It describes no-drill use of OEM mounting points, factory tie-down clearance, outlet/light access and compatibility with most soft roll-up and hard-fold covers. BuiltRight also lists 2022+ Maverick side panels using the factory FLEXBED mounting points.

“Most tonneau covers” still requires an exact check. Inside-mounted rails and clamps can overlap the top edge of a side panel. A hard-fold hinge can sweep through the space occupied by a tall tool. A pouch that clears with the cover open may rub the panel underside when closed.

Place frequently used light items near the tailgate and heavier equipment low. Recovery gear, fuel or a jack needs a restraint plan designed for vehicle motion; MOLLE pattern compatibility only describes attachment geometry.

Bottom line

Vehicle-specific Putco and BuiltRight panels provide a documented starting point. The winning system is the one that preserves the truck's existing anchors and power features while keeping the complete mounted loadout below and inside the tonneau hardware.

For the truck's mounting interfaces, see Maverick bed rails, cleats and T-bolts.
