LOBO SPRINGS FOR MILD ECOBOOST AWD DROP; AFTERMARKET KITS ONLY BY EXACT DRIVETRAIN

High confidence · Last verified 27 Oct 2026

Ford M-5300-MV Lobo springs fit only 2022–2025 2.0L AWD Mavericks and lower about 10 mm front/25 mm rear. Eibach and H&R publish different FWD, AWD and Hybrid paths; Belltech's deep coilover kit is AWD-specific. Never choose lowering parts from body style alone—the rear suspension and spring rates differ.

Ford's Lobo spring set is the conservative OE path. Eibach publishes an AWD Pro-Kit with a 2.0-inch front and 2.9-inch rear drop and calls for a rear camber arm when needed. H&R lists separate applications, including a 2WD kit that includes Hybrid and a 2025–2026 AWD non-Hybrid kit. Belltech 352080HK targets AWD with adjustable coilovers, rear shocks, perches and a sway bar for a much deeper drop.

Bottom line

Use Lobo springs for a mild factory-derived AWD stance. Choose a full matched system—not springs alone—when pursuing a deep drop, and align the truck immediately after installation.

Recheck Maverick wheel width, offset and bolt pattern before selecting wheels for the new ride height.
