WeatherTech vs Husky vs TuxMat for Ford Maverick

· 2 min read

Three generic high-wall floor liner designs compared for a Ford Maverick cabin

CHOOSE WEATHERTECH FOR A RIGID CHANNELED SHELL, HUSKY X-ACT CONTOUR FOR A SOFTER HIGH-WALL LINER, OR TUXMAT FOR MAXIMUM SIDEWALL COVERAGE

High confidence on product design; exact fit requires model year and powertrain selection · Last verified 27 Oct 2026

The rear floor differs enough that sellers identify Maverick Hybrid separately. Select Hybrid versus non-Hybrid before color or coverage; never trim around the accelerator or omit factory retention points.

Availability and part numbers change, so use each maker's live vehicle selector.

These three brands are not merely different tread patterns. WeatherTech FloorLiner uses a relatively rigid high-density core with channels and a lower reservoir. Husky WeatherBeater is the firmer value line, while X-act Contour is the softer, more flexible premium choice. TuxMat extends farther up the footwell sidewalls and uses clips where needed to hold the perimeter.

WeatherTech and TuxMat both expose a separate Maverick Hybrid application, and TuxMat explicitly marks its Hybrid set as Hybrid-only. Do not use a seller's generic “2022–2026 Maverick” headline as proof that the rear section matches both powertrains.

Install only one driver mat, engage every factory retention point and press the accelerator and brake through full travel with the vehicle parked. Any bunching, overlap or contact is a stop condition. Recheck after washing and reinstalling.

Bottom line

There is no universal winner. Pick the material and coverage behavior you want, then order the exact powertrain-specific set and verify pedal clearance.
