Which RIVAL Skid Plate Fits a Ford Maverick EcoBoost?

RIVAL's product catalog is unusually clear about the facelift boundary. Its earlier aluminum engine skid lists 2022–2024 EcoBoost and 2022–2026 Hybrid applications, with explicit “does not fit 2025–2026 EcoBoost” and “does not fit Tremor” notes. A second product covers 2025–2026 EcoBoost.
The earlier plate is described as quarter-inch deep-stamped aluminum, about 22 lb, using factory mounting locations without drilling. RIVAL says oil can be changed without removing it, while recommending a quick-drain valve and funnel to manage spills. Those claims apply to that exact plate/application, not every skid.
What the engine skid does not prove
An engine skid is not automatically a catalytic-converter shield or complete underbody armor. RIVAL sells a separate catalytic-converter skid for defined EcoBoost years/configurations. Map the hazard you want covered before choosing parts and check that adjacent plates are documented to work together.
For FX4 trucks, the earlier listing says to reuse four factory bolts/threaded holes rather than the supplied fasteners. Follow the current manual and torque values; mounting-point count alone does not establish strength or fit.

For RIVAL, never order a generic “2022–2026 EcoBoost” engine plate. Use the 2022–2024 EcoBoost listing or the separate 2025–2026 product as appropriate, and stop if the trim is excluded—especially Tremor.
