PPF FOR NEAR-INVISIBLE PAINT COVERAGE; AEROSKIN FOR LOW PROFILE; BUGFLECTOR FOR A RAISED SHIELD

Ford lists vehicle-specific Aeroskin and three-piece paint-protection film kits for 2022–2026 Maverick. The 2025 order guide says factory hood/fender film is not available with either smoke or textured Aeroskin. AVS Bugflector II 25980 is a raised acrylic shield with a separate fastened installation, but current exact-year availability should be confirmed before ordering.

Ford's smoke Aeroskin is a smooth acrylic piece attached directly to the hood with automotive-grade adhesive tape. The textured black version is TPO and requires no drilling. Both protect the leading edge and keep a low profile.

The Ford three-piece PPF kit uses a nearly invisible polyurethane barrier across the leading edge of the hood and front fenders. It preserves the factory look but Ford calls the kit non-returnable and recommends confirming dealer installation availability before purchase.

AVS Bugflector II 25980 is a high-profile, wraparound acrylic shield. Current retail application data covers Maverick model years, but because AVS/RealTruck availability has shifted, require the live selector to return the exact truck year rather than relying on an old listing or marketplace title.

No deflector guarantees windshield protection. After installation, verify hood closing, fender clearance, washer pattern and fastener/tape security. Follow cure and car-wash restrictions from the exact instructions.

Bottom line

Choose PPF when preserving paint without changing the truck's look is the priority. Choose Aeroskin for a visible but low-profile guard. Choose Bugflector II only when the raised style is desired and the current application confirms the exact Maverick year.

For lower-body spray protection, compare Ford, WeatherTech and RokBlokz Maverick mud flaps.
